A subsidiary of the Beijing Huairou Foreign Trade Co., Ltd., we are located at the foot of the internationally renowned Great Wall. With factory facilities covering an area of 12,000 square meters, we have convenient access to road and railway links to several air- and sea-ports.

One of the biggest processors of chestnuts in China, we have total assets worth USD6,100,000. Our 'Fuyinong' brand products have become popular around the world, characterized by reliable quality standards, reasonable prices and unique patented processing technology. Selling well in the domestic market, these items are now also being exported to buyers in Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Europe and the USA.

All the chestnuts we use are grown locally in the Huairou district of Beijing. Nutritious and large-sized, they have high sugar content and medium water content. The highly valued 'Chestnut King' variety that we mainly use is sourced from 600-year old trees, which were planted for exclusive use by the imperial authorities in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Our chestnut plantation covers 10,000 acres, producing 12,000 tons of chestnuts annually; 7,000 tons of which are for export.

With 500 employees, including 26 managerial staff and 11 technicians, we have imported advanced processing, quick-freezing and sterilizing equipment from the USA and Japan. These include a 1,300hp screw rapid-freezing unit, various piston refrigeration units, a 2,200-ton chilling room and a 2,000-ton cold store. Used in combination with our other food processing equipment and quality testing instruments, product standards are assured.

All of our chestnuts are processed strictly in compliance with ISO9001 and ISO14001 quality and environmental protection standards. Moreover, every employee must past strict health checks and receive systematic training before taking their post. As testament to the effectiveness of these procedures, we have received "Green Food" authorization issued by the Ministry of Agriculture of China, in addition to American FDA certification.

Furthermore, we were also commended as outputting "Quality Assured Products" by the Domestic Trade Bureau in December 2001, and won a "Famous Brand" title at the 7th International Food Fair.
