KELMEX INTERNATIONAL was formed in December of 1990 from the merger of Nutritional Specialty Products and Nutrition Associates Inc. Nutritional Specialty Products was founded in 1975 to market and distribute nutritional supplements to health professionals in Southern California and Nevada. Nutrition Associates Inc. was founded in 1977 to market for and consult with health professionals the implementation of using a diagnostic test, “Trace Mineral Analysis”, in their medical practice to determine excesses or deficiencies of minerals and/or toxic metals in patients which interferes with homeostasis.

Kelmex International is comprised of two divisions, marketing/consulting and manufacturing representation. Our marketing/consulting division is an established consortium of independent experts in health product development, including technology assessment, licensing, acquisition, government registration, marketing and PR.

Kelmex International’s manufacturing representation comprises of American (USA) manufacturers, both generic and contract, to the vitamins, over-the-counter and prescription pharmaceutical markets, as well as the cosmetic and skin care segment of the marketplace. Capabilities include liquids, injectibles, lotions, creams and ointments, tablets, capsules (both softgel and hardshell) , and our new line of ceramides. Sophisticated dosage forms and difficult formulations, are available as are bulk products and raw materials.

Kelmex International represents only the highest quality USA manufacturers with copies of all U. S. F. D. A. compliance records available for review. Many of the companies that are represented by Kelmex currently manufacture under contract to large, branded, multinational pharmaceutical companies. Kelmex also provides consulting services regarding new product development, package design, regulatory policies and procedures. Large companies seeking outside manufacturing find the services provided by Kelmex to be useful in locating such facilities while retaining anonymity.

Kelmex International also exports certain commodities on a “requested basis”.

Marketing of both divisions is done through distributors, joint-ventures, industry media, International trade shows and by direct contact.
