History
Dolphin Healthcare was incorporated in Malaysia as a limited company in January 1995, specialized in the Research & Development, Manufacture and Marketing of healthcare, personal care and household products. Dolphin Healthcare is distinguished by its place in the market of its effective yet gentle antiseptic-germicide liquid, Pathol brand. Offering some of the innovative products in 1995, Dolphin Healthcare has developed in the intervening years into a versatile corporation. Individuals with broad international experience and success lead our manufacturing. An experienced supporting staff is highly educated with a proud record of accomplishments.

Achievements
Our scientific intellectual capacity has been an important ingredient since our founding and has resulted in innovations in research and development. Dr Colin Chong spearheads our R&D department with his knowledge and working experience with multi-national corporations in the last 30 years. For example, in the antiseptic market, Dolphin Healthcare is unique in that we utilize one of the world’s most widely used and trusted antiseptic formulation to produce the Pathol range – antiseptic liquid, spray, soap, shower crème, liquid hand soap, etc. These products are assured the best possible performance in their applications, yet gentle. In a decidedly niche market, Dolphin Healthcare has had to be resourceful and innovative. In-house Research & Development has resulted in innovative products for the consumers.

The Markets
Dolphin Healthcare sells its Pathol products to the ethical sector i. e. hospitals and medical centers by giving product presentations to doctors and nurses. Our Pathol Antiseptic-Germicide Liquid is approved by the Ministry of Health, Malaysia (MAL20040183XC) as well as Halal-certified by JAKIM Malaysia. With the endorsements from the ethical sector as a strong but gentle antiseptic, we have successfully launched to the general public. It has been accepted as a useful front-line product in both personal and family hygiene and an invaluable first aid product. The A. C. Nielson Survey for 2002 had positioned our Pathol Liquid as 3rd in terms of market value and volume after Dettol and Savlon.

Dolphin Healthcare has exported to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Indonesia. It sells well in these markets during the recent SARS and Bird Flu crises. As an acceptable product worldwide, we intend to penetrate other markets like other Islamic countries, Middle East, Indian subcontinent, Australia, Europe, America, etc.
