International Handicraft Collection is a pioneer exporter and manufacturer of Horn/Bone Handicrafts, Photo frames, Jewelry Boxes, Cutlery, Horn/Bone Jewelry, Napkin Ring, Buttons and Ash Tray. We started operation in 1999 with an aim to supply products that represent excellent value for money, allowing importers a healthy profit margin while still pricing attractively for the general public. With our own in-house designs, we offer products at incomparable prices.

We introduced innovative use of bones and horns of animals like camel, buffallo, cow to make this craft legal and affordable.

Converting Horn into Finished Products. . .

Horn is a natural material and is as old as animal life itself and 'horn craft' as old as civilization. Man has used 'buffalo and other animal horn' for crafting different items of utility and decoration since time immemorial. The same horn is now being designed into exclusive items by master craftsmen. The horn is a natural material taken from the Indian Buffalo, the botanical name of which is "Buffalo Buffalis". The horn is gathered from Abboatoirs only from healthy animals which are slaughtered.

The horn is cleaned, washed and sold in complete lots. The horn is seasoned for 4 to 6 months in temperatures which range from 35 to 45 deg. C. Only properly seasoned horn is used which will give the quality sheen to the products. It goes through 5 steps of buffing, sand papering, rebuffing, polishing and lacquering. Each piece is unique and may vary in shape and look due to natural variations in the horn.

Besides updating our designs regularly in keeping with changing market needs, we have the complete capability to make items to your designs and as per your requirements.

Each shipment is accompanied by a certification from the wild life authorities as no objection certification for exporting the said products for customs at the port of entry.
