The Nielsen name comes from one of our most experienced fly fisherman in the lakes of Iceland, Thor Nielsen. He has been our insperation and is a good example of a man who honestly loves this sport.

The idea of designing our own fly rods under the name of Nielsen started three years a go, along with running a tackle store here in Iceland. This project has grown and early this year we established a new partnership with investors. The Nielsen team is a group of individuals that have fly fishing for a passion, and the ambition to offer you designed quality products for a reasnoble price.

All products are designed and tested by our professional team here in Iceland. We also accentuate to have a good liaison with our manufacturers whitch makes all quality control much more effective.
