Karkonoskie Zakł ady Maszyn Elektryczne Karelma S. A. in Piechowice is the only Polish submersible motor producer with a fifty-year tradition. KARELMA S. A. is recognized producer of wet submersible motors, submersible pumping sets of “DELFIN” and “AMUR” type, generating sets, welding generating sets with the welding current of up to 500A, all purpose electric vehicles and other electrical equipment. Our products are exported to many European countries such as France and Switzerland as well as to the world markets, e. g. to Africa. DELFIN 6, DELFIN 8 and DELFIN 10 submersible pumping sets manufactured by our company are characterised by high efficiency, compact construction and operational reliability. A great number of varieties and a wide range of hydraulic parameters of those pumping sets enable optimum matching of the set with individual needs of each user.
The pumping sets ensure the following parameters of water pumping:
- rate of delivery Q from 4 to 330m³/h
- elevation head H from 5 to 460m
The quality and technical parameters of our equipment are recognised by all leaders in production and sales of pumping sets in Poland and abroad. Technical parameters and reliability of our submersible pumping sets have been verified in practice during their exploitation in extreme condition in brown coal mines and sulfur strip mines. The pumping sets with our submersible motors have been used for draining Beł chatów brown coal mine.
A great advantage of the motors used in pumping sets is the possibility of rewinding and repairs them. Our company has broadened its offer by repair and maintenance service of the sold pumping sets. Those services are performed professionally and for competitive prices. Simultaneously, for over 50 years, KARELMA S. A. has delivered generating sets and welding generating sets of various power both to military consumers and individual clients. To date, the sales of that equipment have reached the number of several thousand of pieces which provides grounds for stating that the reliability and quality of our generating sets have been confirmed during the long term co-operation with customers, which has strengthened our company’s prestige and enabled constant product improvement and modernisation.

Wishing to meet customer requirements the company has obtained the certificate issued by Wojskowy Instytut Techniki we Wrocł awiu (Military Technical Institute in Wrocł aw) allowing to sell our generating sets to military consumers.
