Porcat (Porkka Communications and Translations) is owned by Mr. Ilkka Porkka. The company has it's office in Asuntohotelli/Hostel Aallon Maja which is owned by Ilkka Porkka, too.

Mr. Porkka has been Editor-in-Chief for Automaatioväylä (Automation Fieldbus Magazine in Finland) for 6 years, and technical editor and Editor-in-Chief for many other Magazines in Finland from the year 1982. From the beginning of January 2006 Mr. Porkka has been Editor-in-Chief for Enertec Magazine.

Porcat is now more and more a consulting and PR company. We write press releases, marketing materials, editorial articles, content for Internet sites etc. We have produced two books of automation's history in Finlad in Finnish, one book of IFAC (Internation Federation of Automatic Control) in English, CD-multimedias for enterprices, annual reports for a bank, specialized supplements (energy and environment etc. ) for trade Magazines, and many web sites for new companies to get started their business.
