Yahia Sayed Omar owner and President of YSO Import-Export established this organization in early 1969, and is considered one of the largest Private organizations in exporting Ethiopian Agricultural Products, mainly Spices, Pulses, Oil Seeds, and Natural Produce.

With a location within the heart of the Ethiopian capital “Addis Ababa” & in the most strategic area of the business district - “MERKATO” - the largest open-air market in Africa. The organization employs 17 permanent personnel of managerial and secretarial levels, and during the harvest season, between 300 to 500 are employed on contract basis, supervised by strict quality control procedures to clean, pack and prepare quality commodities for the international market.

Our own cleaning facilities are located in the town of Nazaterh (99 Kms South-East Addis Ababa) on a land area of over 10,000 Sqaure meters. The processes of Machine dressing and Hand-picking for quality and grading purposes pass through special quality control phases with the quality control system being perfected increasingly.
