INK PROOFER

This unit is specially designed for comparing or matching colours of printing ink, paints etc. It has a sturdy construction incorporating the anilox and doctor blade system. The printing roller is a universal rubber resistant to water based or alcohol based inks.

The proofers' modern construction allows for quick cleaning and anilox changing, thus making it user friendly for easy ink drawdowns

The ideal process control tool.

When used as a PC tool, drawdown the standard ink onto standard coloured substrate (board, paper, or film ) . Store the signed and approved standard in a dark room.

To compare a new batch of ink with the standard, select the same anilox and a clean piece of standard substrate, make a drawdown. Allow it to dry and compare it with the standard using a VIPTRONIC DENSITOMETER, or by eye using the same light source.
