Latzimas Extra Virgin Cretan Olive Oil "G. Kotzampasakis" is a family company specializing in producing extra virgin olive oil. It comes from the region of North Mylopotamos, Rethymno, Crete; a protected origin name product possessing superb properties of light taste and pure colour. The production of LATZIMAS oil comes from the highest quality crop of a family’s estate olive groves and combines years of traditional methods of cold pressing extraction with modern technology. The Cretan climate, soil and the people’s labor of love guarantee “LATZIMAS” superior quality and excellent taste.

The LATZIMAS range comes in very distinctive marasca bottles of 250ml, 500ml, 750ml and 1ltr as well as tin containers of 3 and 5ltr and consists of:
§ Extra virgin olive oil (acidity 0 - 0.5) . With its light taste and golden colour it goes very well with white meats, fowl and salads.
§ Organic extra virgin olive oil (acidity 0 – 0.5) With its fine peppery taste it complements fish carpaccio, vegetable soup, lamb and green vegetables. It is certified by the Organisation of Control and Certificate for Organic Cultivation.

In addition to the above range LATZIMAS includes a number of aromatic extra virgin olive oils:
§ Extra virgin olive oil infused with rosemary, red chilies and red peppers.
§ Extra virgin olive oil infused with bay leaves and thyme.
§ Extra virgin olive oil infused with lemon and thyme.
All the above aromatic extra virgin olive oils are highly aromatic, strong but not hot, with delicate aroma, beautifully fresh and ideal for any use. To accompany pizza, pasta, roasted meats, sauces, eggs.
