your Flashlight never needs a battery. It is charged by shaking the unit. For the best results, follow these steps in charging:
A. Turn the unit off.
B. Hold the unit parallel to the ground and shake it with moderate force about two to three times per second.
7. Flashlight will provide you with more than four minutes of light when charged for 50 seconds. If the unit is completely drained of energy, you should give the unit 90 shakes---or about 30 seconds of shaking at 3 shakes per second---to fully charge its capacitor.
8. During prolonged use, the Flashlight should be turned off and shaken for 10 to 15 seconds every four to five minutes.
