The meteorological balloons of 2000gms described in this specifications are used to carry radio sondes weighing about 2 KG. To heights of 35 kms. Or more at a rate of ascent of about 20kms per hour these sounding balloons designed for use under all climates and in all weather conditions are inflated with hydrogen gas and when released, rise in the atmosphere till they burst at heights more than 35 kms. The temperatures to which these balloons will be subjected to range from +50 c to -90 c.
