Product Description
Warashield is high quality water based 100% acrylic finish designed for the protection of exterior and decorative interior surfaces. It has been formulated with the best quality grade raw materials to enable such high performance. This product dries to a satin finish. It is an ideal material for covering matt texture coatings to improve durability and washability.

Surface Preparation
Ensure surface is clean and free from dust, dirt and grease. All loose, peeling and flaking material must be removed with a scraper. Sand the surface smooth and remove all dust. Sand enamel painted surfaces until all gloss is removed. Fill holes and cracks with a suitable filler and sand lightly to an even finish.

Preparatory Coats
Previously Painted Surfaces: Over old oil-based enamels use Waraprime undercoat. Over properly prepared water-based finishes no undercoat is required.
Paper-faced Plasterboard: No sealer required. Absorbent plaster joints should have a preliminary coat of Waratah Warshield before coating the entire surface.
Plaster Glass, Fibrous Plaster and Set Hard Plaster: Apply one coat of Waratah Waraprime primer and allow 4 hours to dry.
Unpainted Brick, Cement Render, Stone, Fibre Cement: Ensure that new cement or concrete work is fully cured before applying Waratah Warashield. Alternatively, one coat of Waratah Waraprime may be supplied.

Application
Stir contents thoroughly with a flat stirrer before and during use. Apply two coats by brush, roller or spary equipment. Sand lightly between coat.
