Product Description
Solarscreen is a smooth, even, opaque, low sheen finish which has enhanced resistance to ultra violet light and which will resist the effects of weather change. It is a durable, water based, 100% acrylic finish suitable for a wide range of exterior building materials. High quality grade raw materials have been used in its formulating to provide outstanding performance.

Surface Preparation
Remove grease, dust and dirt by washing down with a liquid detergent and warm water followed by a rinse with clean water. Allow to dry. All loose, peeling and flaking material must be removed. Sand the surface smooth until all gloss is removed. Fill holes and cracks with a spackling compound and sand lightly to an even finish.

Preparatory Coats
Previously Painted Surfaces: Over old oil-based enamels use Waraprime undercoat. Over properly prepared water-based finishes no undercoat is required.
Paper-faced Plasterboard: No undercoat or sealer required. Absorbent plaster joints should have a preliminary coat of Waratah Solarscreen before coating the entire surface.
Plaster Glass, Fibrous Plaster and Set Hard Plaster: Apply one coat of Waratah Solarscreen primer.
Unpainted Brick, Cement Render, Stone, Fibre Cement: Ensure that new cement or concrete work is fully cured before applying Waratah Solarscreen. Alternatively, one coat of Waratah Waraprime may be supplied.

Application
Stir contents thoroughly with a flat stirrer before and during use. Apply two coats by brush, roller or spary equipment. Sand lightly between coat.
