The acrylic-based solid surface sheets produced by our company under the trade name of AKCOR and the end products such as countertops, vertical panels, window and door sills manufactured from the sheets are not damaged by water, moisture, vinegar, lemon juice, harsh detergents, soap or acids under conditions of everyday use. In addition, the products which do not contain any synthetic dyes do not show any signs of fading, yellowing due to sunlight, and are resistant to cracking as a result of weathering.

AKCOR products are dire-resistant and do not support flame. However, when the surfaces are subjected to direct fire, whitening of the surface may occur upto a depth of about 0.5 mm.

Bacteria and fungi do not grow on AKCOR surfaces.

Even if the surfaces of products made of AKCOR sheets are scratched or damaged by direct exposure to fire or high temperature, the original beauty of the surfaces can be restored simply by sanding. Since the material is a solid surface rather than a laminate or a simple painted surface, it is possible to repeat the sanding procedure over and over again.
