Furfural alcohol is a colorless or light yellow transparent liquid with a little bitter smell, can dissolve in water. It’s unstable in water, apt to dissolve in alcohol, ether, etc. organic solvents, doesn’t dissolve in paraffin hydrocarbon and is apt to be resinified when meeting with acids. lts color will deepen because of condensation action when deposited in air.
