On hydrolysis (45°) , stable at pH8-10 but rapid loss at pH< 7 or pH> 12. Relatively unstable in most organic solvents.

A selective systemic sulfonylurea herbicide.

(Rat) Acute oral LD50>5000mg/kg. (Rabbit) Dermal LD50>2000mg/kg. (Rat) Inhalation LC50>5mg/L. Slightly irritant to eyes. No irritation to skin.
