Jiu Qu Hong Mei has become world famous since the year 1886. It comes from the West Lake area of China, picked one bud with two leaves. Its brewed water delivers the color like a red plum, and hence it’s called “Hong Mei”. (Hong Mei means “red plum” in English. )

This tea is carefully hand-processed for consistent size and weight. The long lasting fragrance refreshes much, warming the stomach, and yet the smell is so brisk. The liquor is a bright gleaming red amber. This is really a very remarkable tea.
