The electrode of the water immersion sensor is composed of insulation base-plate and thin stainless steel plate electrode, and thin stainless plate sticks on both sides of the base plate. The dimension of the base plate is 3.94mm (D) x 54mm(L) x 34mm (W) .

It may be used to measure for different purposes according to the place where the
electrode is put. Putting the base plate on the ground with the plain side of the
electrode to test the humidity of the ground; while putting the base plate with
the outstanding side of the electrode to test the depth of the water on the ground.
The minimum depth of water detected is 1mm.
