Glass flake

We offer the widest range of glass flake (flake glass) for use in the protective coatings market. Offering glass flake with nominal thicknesses from 1 through to 7.5 microns in thickness. All flake thicknesses are available in three different particle size diameters to suit most applications.
All our glass is produced using a ECR glass; a modified c- glass having excellent chemical resistivity.
Typically glass flakes wit a thickness of 3 microns would be recommended for use in coating systems, as the use of a thinner product enables formulators to produce coatings with a reduced film thickness resulting in material and application cost savings.
We also offer our GF750 series product range with an average thickness of 7.5 microns, this products are for companies currently using other supplies of glass flake to allow easy adoption without the need for reformulating.
