KTZ Floating Ball Valve Construction Features Function
l . Advanced and Exclusive Seat Design
With many years manufacturing experience in Ball Valve and advanced technology from abroad, the cone sealing surface makes the sealing more reliable. We have designed various types of seat materials with low friction and small operational torque.
2. Wrench with Valve Open/Close Indication
The connection between the flat-head stem and indicator handle shall never be stack. And the open-close on the handle is always consistent with the valve's open-close status.
3. Locking Device
The valve is equipped with locking holes at the full-open and full-closed position, so as to avoid mistaken actions during opening and closing the valve.
4. Blow off-proof Stem Construction
The lower end of stem is terraced and is installed from the lower
internal part or stem. This construction can firm blow off-proof
stem and metal-to-metal contact sealing after fire in either case.
5. Anti-static Design
During operation of valve, static electricity may accumulate on the ball. The special anti-static device can transmit out the static electricity during open and close of the valve.
6. Middle Flange with no leakage design (Body and Cap connection)
Body and Cap connection is sealed by gaskets. To prevent leakage when fire, high temperature or librations, metal-to-metal sealing design between body and cap is adopted.
7. Fire-proof Design:
Each possible leaking part between Ball and Body, Middle Flange, Stem and body is designed as metal-to-metal contact which conforms to the fireproof requirements of API6FA or API607. In case of severe fireproof conditions, Packing and Gasket shall be flexible graphite that can perform no leakage.
