At the 2nd generation machines, the dirt excluding in the opening device of the RC spinning unit was applied. The first such a machine was the BD 200 RC. The cleaning system was controllable in amount of the excluded dirt, however, it was soon replaced with the cleaning of the CE I type (the BD 200 RCE machine) , which did not require any cleaning (this unit was examined on a prototype as early as in 1974) . The RC type machine was produced from 1976 to 1981 and the RCE type in 1980 - 1987.
