The SiRF-3 based GE-317A is tiny in dimension (17*22 mm) and with ultra-high performance, low power consumption. In addition, it supports the I-PEX RF connector as bonus for easy antenna connection.

A valuable power control mechanism is implemented in GE-317A for power saving. Moreover, the user-friendly antenna open/short detection and short protection functions are also provided to avoid the mi-use of GPS antenna.
