Definition: Sunflower oil is the fatty oil obtained from the seeds of Helianthus annuus L. by expeller pressed, refined, blended and deodorized It is non-organic.

Physical Description:

The oil is clear, light yellow liquid, practically insoluble in water and alcohol, miscible with light petroleum (bp: 40-60 °C) .
