The thermoforming line is suitable for automatic forming of thermoplastic materials with thickness ranging from 3 to 5.2 mm and particularly ABS-HIPS sheet for refrigerator inner liner production.
This arrangement provides a compact design requiring the minimal amount of floor space. The machine has a flat base and does not require installation pits or special foundations. The material is moved between each station by parallel spiked chains driven by an electric motor.
Several solutions are available in order to increase productivity:
Loading station: quick pallet change and centering device that allows large stacking tolerance
Pre-heating, to reduce the total heating time
Quartz heaters final heating station, for precise zoning and more efficient heating
Forming station with:
o Double vacuum bell, to increase bubble control and cooling capacity
o Quick locking system for fast tool change
o Devices to increase cooling speed
o High performing hydraulic and mechanic systems
Vertical cut, single guillotines for fast perimetral trimming
Hydraulic punching press, with quick tool change and fast versionabile
For operation, one supervisor can work from at least 3 locations
PRODUCTION CAPACITY
DOUBLE INNER LINER positive moulds HIPS sheet of 3,8 mm 100 pieces/hour
Note: Above production capacities are the maximum obtainable in the best operating, environment and energy supply conditions, with first class plastic materials, high quality and temperature controlled moulds and well trained personnel.
In case of difficult shapes, the indicated productivity can decrease by 10%
The standard production capacity granted is 85% of maximum productivity taking in consideration start up and issues not related to the machine (for example the mould) .
From productivity are excluded the 10 minutes for tool change.
In order to increase productivity Cannon can provide the following options:
Quartz heaters for increased heating performance
High quality moulds
