Characteristics:

Appearance: White crystalline or crystalline powder, it has a sweet taste odorless and a cooling.

Sensation: It water solution and transparent 1gdissolves in about 0.65ml of water. It is tiny to dissolve in the ether with Methyl alcohol, Melting Point: 92-96C, Boiling Point: 216C, 10% solution: pH5.0-7.0.

Application:

1. D-xylose promotes the growth of human intestinal twin-bacilli and improves human microorganism environment and immunity.

2. D-xylose is used in the flavour and pet food industries, in the production of savoury flavours, as it is highly effective at inducing Maillard reactions.

3. D-xylose is mainly used to produce xylitol and is applied widely in food processing and medical industries
