8E1/Ethernet Converter is a special Ethernet bridge designed for using multiple E1 circuits to transmit Ethernet data, able to transmit MAC frame data in a point-to-point manner through 1- 8 E1 circuits.
8E1/10(100) BaseT adopts reverse multiplexing technology, bundles multi E1 circuits to transmit 10M/100M Ethernet data, and allows a certain transmission time delay as in different linkers among E1 circuits. It can use the resource of many existing E1 circuits in telecommunication network to extend the Ethernet transmission distance and the scope of application with little investment, an excellent solution for broadband access of Ethernet.

Technology Characteristics:
AC220V and DC-48V are available. Support Ttransparent transmission of 10M/100M Ethernet data in 1-8 E1 circuits.

Support the error rate limit setting of the CRC in every E1 circuit. The E1 circuit will be shut down if its error rate over the limit.
Support usability check and self-protection and automatic troubleshooting of 1-8 E1 circuits in the single direction (sending or receiving) , only shut down the E1circuit direction whose error rate over the limit; the other direction (sending or receiving) and other E1 circuits are not effected. Support the Ethernet data transmission on sending or receiving dissymmetry, to ensure to fully use the resource of many existing E1 circuits when the E1 circuit is broken.
If all the E1 circuits are shut down in receiving data, the local warning and network management message can be still transmitted to the remote equipment through the sending port, thats the dissymmetry transmission. The function is especially useful to diagnose the malfunction of the optical fiber when the converter is connected to the optical transmission equipment.
If any E1 circuit receive the LOSAIS or LOF warning, the other E1 side send data normally, can not be affected, that is the dissymmetry transmission.
