Melt the butter in a big skillet pan, over medium heat. Add onion and saute until its translucent, approximately 3 minutes. Add rice, 1 cup of chicken broth, reduce heat and boil until liquid is absorbed, stirring frequently. Continue to add remaining broth one cup at a time until rice is soft but firm, stirring frequently and allowing each additional cup of broth to be absorbed before adding the following cup, approximately 20 minutes. Add creamer and boil for 2 minutes. Add goat cheese, jaiba, and basil. Marinate the risotto with salt, pepper, and your favorite Italian condiment.
