1. Surface ResistivityParallel Probe Resistivity Method
The Method is very swift for resistance testing of average materials, which conforms to criterion
of EOS/ESD-S11.11-1993. Also this suits to the test of multi-layers material, meanwhile
temperature and humidity data in report is required.
A. Place the meter on testing surface.
B. Turn to right voltage(10v or 100v)
C. Press test button with pressure of approximate 5 pounds, here LCD screen would display final
datas-------test process would last for 15 seconds.

During every test, the meter would display datas continuously when pressing the button, and in 45
seconds after button released, data shown is the last one.
2. Surface Resistance Measurement (RTT)
This method(conforms to EOS/ESD-S4.1) is used to test resistance between two points of ground
touch, and the result is relavent to specific distance of two 5pounds detector and the condition of
testing target. So, correct tesing way should be selected, and every testing condition required
should be the same.
A. Insert wire plug into two holes of 3.5mm, also connect banana plug with two 5pounds
B. Place two detectors on target surface as required.
C. Select correct voltage (10v or 100v)
D. Press the button till voltage selected is shown on screen, keep pressing till all
datas(resistance, relative humidity and temperature) display.
3. Surface-To-Ground Resistance Measurement (RTG)
This method is used to measure surface resistance of target from one point of its surface to another
point which touches ground, also conforms to test criterion of EOS/ESD S4.1.
A. Insert each end of two cords separately into two holes of DIA 3.5mm, and then connect one
cord with clip, the other with 5pounds detector.
B. Link the clip to ground touch point as required, and then place detector on testing surface.
C. Press the button till all datas is displayed, result conforms to criterion of EIA, EOS/ESD ,
ANSI, IEC-93, CECC and ASTM. To ensure accuracy of test when testing material of high
impedance, crossover of two cords and hand-touch of any relative testing substances are not
