Screw presses are machines used to dewater organic waste material from pulp & paper, food processors such as coffee & coconut, fruit canneries, feedmills, manure separation and protein & pectin production. Dewatering is achieved by the action of a rotating screw against a pressure cone and a screen through which the filtrate exits. We offer small 4" laboratory models on up to giant 50 ton machines with screws that are 40" in diameter.
The dewatered solids may be used as boiler fuel (in the case of pulp & paper) , fertilizer and animal feed. Savings in fuel costs, wastewater treatment and materials handling are the main driving points for using screw presses in continuous or batch mode.
In cooperation with our principal, we can conduct field dewatering tests or send your material to the USA for testing.
