Traditional Luo stool
This a Luo (one of the tribes of Kenya) traditional stool. It is handcarved from wood and beads are stuck on the surface in any design. Luo men used to carry their stools around as they visited each others huts. The intricate bead work is to the discrestion of the artist therefore no one stool can look exactly alike but each are equally beautiful. It is sturdy and has three legs.
